falloutboy: Take this to your rave I remember playing this venue a few years ago and we went wandering around looking for ghosts per usual. I made Chloe stand outside of the bathroom door on watch shortly after we had arrived that day since Josh had convinced me that he had a creepy encounter in the bathroom the last time they had played there. After taking some photos on the top balcony for AP - Jacob, Derek, Nate, some venue employees and I went wandering for what seemed like ages. I was so freaked out by all of the dark staircases and cold hallways and kept jumping and squealing - probably bc Jacob did first! We climbed up to this particular room and one of the guys that worked there told me that FOB had played it before. It was such a random fact, from a random person I didn’t know, that meant so much to me. I was so lost and longing for this band at that time and I stood in that giant, empty room for probably 15 minutes after everyone had left just staring at the stage, picturing them playing in front of me once again. I felt like Penny Lane frolicking in post show litter, but the room was completely empty and I forgot about being terrified of the building and whatever spirits they say reside there. I swear all I felt was the sprits of shows that had been played and I calmly exited the room and walked down flights and flights of dark staircases - alone - without a fear in the world. I always knew you’d come back.
